OUR SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY SO FAR

At Sunkissed we don’t just want our products to be Kind to Your Skin but also Kinder to Our Planet!

Where we are the most sustainable is with our Tanning and Skincare products.

All our bottles and labels are either made of at least 30% recycled plastic or glass, our formulas are made of a minimum of 95% Natural Origin and are up to 99% biodegradable without forgetting that all our products are Vegan and PETA-Approved.

We even have a special Sunkissed Clean Ocean Edition where the bottles are 100% recycled from plastic collected on South East Asia beaches, preventing ocean pollution, and bringing a reliable income to poor families.

For our Sunkissed Cosmetics, we are trying to remove plastic where we can. I.e., our store displays are made of card instead of plastic and we have introduced some products with 100% recycled plastic but that’s not enough and our R&D team is working hard to find more sustainable solutions in this category.

So watch this space!

Sunkissed also partner with Ecologi and has pledged to plant to 100 000 trees by 2023. So, what does it mean?

Everyone one of our staff members is part of the Ecologi Climate Action Workforce. This means that we’re offsetting their entire carbon footprint, including emissions from their home, personal travel, holidays, food, hobbies and more. We’re also offsetting all our staff business travel.

With Ecologi we also support responsible reforestation and planting 6000 to 10000 native trees a year. We are also removing at least 500 tonnes of CO2 a year.

As part of our membership, we also support Ecologi in their projects whether this is a repairing water boreholes in Malawi so communities can access clean water or helping reforesting Madagascar groves that suffered extreme deforestation.
